Creativity of students from Arab countries in the initiatives of Expo 2020 Dubai

Sheikh Zayed's historic visit to Sudan

His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, visited Sudan for the first time on an official visit on February 20, 1972, about two and a half months after the establishment of the UAE Union, where he visited all the states of Sudan and received official and popular receptions. An Emirati engineer invents a tool to puncture a plane

  The engineer, Maryam Al-Kaabi, with a team consisting of two colleagues and a doctor supervising the project, invented an automated tool to help individuals make holes in the plane for installing the pieces, as this tool shows a light indicating that the device is ready for use, Then the parts of the plane are pierced based on the required angle and the necessary force of pressure by this piercer. The engineer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree from the UAE University. She obtained a patent for her innovation and it was registered through the patent office at the UAE University headquarters. It is also not her first project, as she has developed a device in the field of research in aluminum processes while working on a master’s thesis at UAE University, and has come up with a new device, and she is also seeking a patent for it. The UAE provides the appropriate climate and capabilities for all innovators to achieve the best results.

A great official reception from the UAE for the Turkish President

 The UAE received Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is on an official visit for the first time in 9 years to the UAE for two days to discuss bilateral relations, a solemn official reception.   The Research and Development Center at the Ministry of Interior won first place in the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Prize for Security Research, for a research entitled “Future cyber challenges facing the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and ways to confront them.” The research dealt with the axes of indicative research in the concept of cybersecurity, its importance, characteristics, dimensions and developments, the future cyber challenges facing the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and the strategy to reduce them.
