The UAE is committed to helping the least developed countries


 

In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development announced its intention to establish a center to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the Republic of Kenya with the aim of implementing a set of special programs and initiatives in the field of innovation and the development of small and medium enterprises.

The center aims to support the creation of innovative projects, create job opportunities for youth, stimulate their capabilities and develop their entrepreneurial skills, in addition to supporting innovation and promising projects in the field of technology, enabling innovative projects to reach regional and global markets, as well as contributing to building the capacities of entrepreneurs and local bodies in Kenya.

It comes within the framework of the UAE's commitment in the field of official development assistance to the least developed countries and enabling them to enhance their economic performance in order to achieve economic and social stability, which positively affects the global economy and international stability.
