Creativity of students from Arab countries in the initiatives of Expo 2020 Dubai

  UAE students won the award for the best visual presentation of the “Mental and Social Health Campaign for the Elderly” at the conclusion of the work of the Gulf Health Council for the “Healthcon” initiative, which lasted three days in Dubai, as part of the Expo 2020 Dubai initiatives, at the pavilion of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council. It was a strong and innovative competition between students of Arab countries, and each group worked to come up with creative ideas for the three previously scheduled campaigns: the campaign for mental and social health for the elderly, the campaign for the danger of electronic cigarettes, and the drug campaign. The team of the students of the Sultanate of Oman won the award for the best creative idea for changing behavior for the “Mental and Social Health Campaign for the Elderly”, while the team of the students of Saudi Arabia won the award for the best content quality for the “drug campaign”, and the team of Qatar student...

The UAE Ministry of the Interior wins first place in the Prince Nayef Prize for Security Research

  The Research and Development Center at the Ministry of Interior won first place in the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Prize for Security Research, for a research entitled “Future cyber challenges facing the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and ways to confront them.” The research dealt with the axes of indicative research in the concept of cybersecurity, its importance, characteristics, dimensions and developments, the future cyber challenges facing the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and the strategy to reduce them. The award was received by Lieutenant-Colonel Dr. Omar Rashid Saeed Al Shehhi, Director of the Research and Development Center at the Ministry of Interior, in the presence of Lieutenant-General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who honored the winners.

Forty-second meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

  Today, Tuesday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host in its capital, Riyadh, the forty-second meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. The UAE delegation will be headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the State and Ruler of Dubai, who will travel there today. The Gulf states are linked by many historical brotherly ties, and the fate and future are one, and the unity of the Gulf states is crucial for a bright future and to face difficult regional challenges, and through continuous coordination and participation, the Gulf Cooperation Council aims to serve the common interests of the member states,  a chieving prosperity and development for the people of the GCC countries, and contributing to strengthening their regional and international role.
