 UAE begins the first trial of its kind to produce local immune cell therapy using the "CAR T-cell" technology

Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center was established in March 2019. It is staffed by many of the most qualified, accredited doctors with reputable international experiences, and works alongside a team of specialized researchers from around the world. It focuses on stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine techniques, as well as conducting the latest research on stem cell therapy regionally and internationally. It is equipped with the latest advanced medical equipment

The center began the first trial of its kind in the UAE and the region to study the efficacy and safety of immune cell therapy known as T-cells using CAR T-cell receptors in the treatment of blood cancers such as myeloma, lymphoma and certain types of leukemia.

This is a clear evidence of the great contributions made by the UAE to scientific and medical research, finding treatments for complex serious diseases, and the wonderful efforts for a better future for all of us.
