The UAE at the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater

The UAE participated in the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater, which was held from December 14 to 19, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Al Hammadi, Chargé d'Affairs of the UAE Embassy in the Arab Republic of Egypt, who stressed the embassy's keenness to support the exchange of cultural knowledge and the sharing of human values between the two brotherly peoples.

The UAE participated in the play "The Last Comedy", produced by the Dibba Al-Hisn Society for Culture, Heritage and Theater in Sharjah. The work is based on a dramaturgy based on the text "The Fire" by Qasim Mohammed and "The Andalus Trilogy" by Walid Seif. The story deals with the loss of Granada and the last scene of the sunset of Andalusia, which won two awards in festival activities.

Saleh Al-Saadi, Head of Media Affairs and Public Diplomacy, presented the band members with an honorary shield on behalf of the UAE Embassy after this deserved victory in this artistic festival, which reflects the legacy of the ancient Egyptian theater.
