The UAE seeks cooperation between the Security Council and the League of Arab States

 The UAE has three major priorities during its Security Council presidency for the month of March, and they are the climate, women and Arab issues.

The UAE intends to hold three events related to its priorities in the council, the first on women, peace, security and partnership, the second on climate security, and the third event revolving around the cooperation of the Security Council and the League of Arab States.

The UAE has always been concerned with the Arab peoples and issues important for the stability and security of the brotherly Arab countries, and believes that the openness of countries and societies to each other would deepen the bonds of friendship and rapprochement in a way that supports an atmosphere of peace, understanding and dialogue at the regional and global levels. Therefore, it intends to focus on cooperation And dialogue between the League of Arab States and the UN Security Council on the many challenges facing the Arab region, which contribute to strengthening regional security and stability.

World Expo is a large international exhibition designed to showcase achievements of nations. These exhibitions vary in character and are held in different parts of the world at a specific site for a period of time, ranging usually from three to six months. UAE, Dubai, won the organization of the exhibition in 2013, after Dubai outperformed Sao Paulo in Brazil, Yekaterinburg, Russia, and Izmir, Turkey, as it obtained the support of 116 of the 164 voting members of the Bureau in a final run-off against Yekaterinburg.
