Ras Al Khaimah New Year Celebrations

 Ras Al Khaimah dazzled everyone with wonderful celebrations and great fireworks displays to celebrate the New Year 2022, confirming its position as one of the leading tourist destinations in the region.


Ras Al Khaimah presented a drone show on the water area with a stretch of more than 4.7 kilometers, and the show lasted for 12 minutes, divided into 6 stages, amid high precautionary measures.

The displays were divided into the traditional countdown and the launch of official performances, to begin the new year with the launch of the tallest light tower, followed by the phrase (Happy New Year) written in the sky by drones dedicated to fireworks, then a greeting to the UAE and a show celebrating the achievements of the state and its people, then firworks turned to the next stage to form hundreds of drones the slogan of the fiftieth National Day of the UAE in a distinguished show, followed by another show that expressed the aspirations of the UAE during the next fifty years. The end of the show consisted of two parts, one of which was a multi-colored display of lights and the other presented a huge area of ​​white that lit the skyline of Ras Al Khaimah with a message of hope and ambition.


It set two new Guinness records as the highest height for a drone fireworks display by forming a tower of fireworks with a height of 1055.8 meters, and as the largest number of drones used to launch fireworks simultaneously, 452 drone, to form a phrase Happy New Year.
