Let’s make their winters warmer

Warm Winter initiative launched by the The World`s Coolest Winter campaign in partnership with "Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives", "UNHCR" and "Regional Network of Food Banks", and in cooperation with Arab content creators Hassan Suleiman , known as "Abo Flah", which aims to provide the largest amount of aid and support the largest number of refugee families and disadvantaged communities in the region in the winter season by 100,000 families to be able to face the difficult winter conditions in the Arab world or those who face poor living conditions in Africa In order to enhance the concept of humanitarian work in society and devote it as a permanent approach in the UAE, which has become a global platform for humanitarian work.


UNHCR works in 130 countries to provide protection and assistance, and support refugees and host communities to adapt and find solutions in an increasingly harsh climate. The UNHCR is launching  Warm Winter initiative in many countries, where UNHCR statistics indicate that the number of forcibly displaced people around the world exceeded the 84 million mark in 2021.

Expo2020 Dubai

World Expo is a large international exhibition designed to showcase achievements of nations. These exhibitions vary in character and are held in different parts of the world at a specific site for a period of time, ranging usually from three to six months. UAE, Dubai, won the organization of the exhibition in 2013, after Dubai outperformed Sao Paulo in Brazil, Yekaterinburg, Russia, and Izmir, Turkey, as it obtained the support of 116 of the 164 voting members of the Bureau in a final run-off against Yekaterinburg. UAE  has chosen the slogan "Connecting Minds .. Creating the Future" as the title of the campaign to host the "International Expo 2020" in Dubai.
