 Everyone knows how important Kabul Airport is to the Afghan people and its strategic vitality. It has been hit very hard, and the damages included the infrastructure and all the equipment at the airport, which stopped working and increased the suffering of the Afghan people.

But the UAE did not stop watching this, but it moved as it did during the crisis of America’s withdrawal from there. At that time, the UAE immediately sent planes to evacuate the foreigners, as well as many people from the Afghan people who wanted to escape and host many Afghan families, including the former president of Afghanistan. It established an air bridge with Afghanistan to send humanitarian aid, including food and health supplies, to the Afghan people who were suffering greatly.


As for the airport, it repaired the airport at a cost of one million dollars and returned the team of the Emirati Gaac company to manage and operate the airport. The company made an understanding with the new Taliban government to continue operating the airport a month ago, and it is still working.

The UAE Ministry of the Interior wins first place in the Prince Nayef Prize for Security Research

  The Research and Development Center at the Ministry of Interior won first place in the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Prize for Security Research, for a research entitled “Future cyber challenges facing the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and ways to confront them.” The research dealt with the axes of indicative research in the concept of cybersecurity, its importance, characteristics, dimensions and developments, the future cyber challenges facing the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and the strategy to reduce them. The award was received by Lieutenant-Colonel Dr. Omar Rashid Saeed Al Shehhi, Director of the Research and Development Center at the Ministry of Interior, in the presence of Lieutenant-General H.H.
