H.H. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed in Iran

 Today, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed arrived in Iran at the head of a high-level Emirati delegation on an official visit. The Emirati delegation was received by Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.



The purpose of the visit is to bring relations closer, to calm tensions and to resolve conflicts through peace. The Iranian side will make concessions in exchange for Emirati support in various economic fields. 

The weight and size of the Emirates in the region made it a destination for support and conflict resolution, and the claim of Emirati delegations to provide economic and investment support and convergence of views.

The UAE has a major role in spreading peace in the region and resolving disputes between countries, and with this visit, the UAE establishes its principles of peace, tolerance and coexistence.

World Expo is a large international exhibition designed to showcase achievements of nations. These exhibitions vary in character and are held in different parts of the world at a specific site for a period of time, ranging usually from three to six months. UAE, Dubai, won the organization of the exhibition in 2013, after Dubai outperformed Sao Paulo in Brazil, Yekaterinburg, Russia, and Izmir, Turkey, as it obtained the support of 116 of the 164 voting members of the Bureau in a final run-off against Yekaterinburg.
