Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, "Mother of the Nation"

Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation "Mother of the Emirates", won the award for the most influential figure in the field of women's rights for the year 2021, from the Arab Council for Social Responsibility.

This is the culmination of the great effort and hard work of Her Highness to empower Emirati women and in appreciation of the projects, programs and strategic plans that she launched and her great path of giving since the establishment of the United Arab Emirates, during which she believed in the importance of involving women in foreseeing and shaping the future and proceeding in the process of sustainable development, to enable women to provide a qualitative addition in all sectors and fields in which they have worked and excelled.

The award was received on behalf of Her Highness, Her Excellency Noura Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the General Women's Union, at the Arab Republic of Egypt's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.



No one is able to deny its great effort, and it is the pride of the UAE and a role model for hard work, perseverance and ambition. I am very proud of her, and I would like to send her a message, this award does not fulfill your right for what you have done for the UAE, may God protect you

World Expo is a large international exhibition designed to showcase achievements of nations. These exhibitions vary in character and are held in different parts of the world at a specific site for a period of time, ranging usually from three to six months. UAE, Dubai, won the organization of the exhibition in 2013, after Dubai outperformed Sao Paulo in Brazil, Yekaterinburg, Russia, and Izmir, Turkey, as it obtained the support of 116 of the 164 voting members of the Bureau in a final run-off against Yekaterinburg. UAE  has chosen the slogan "Connecting Minds .. Creating the Future" as the title of the campaign to host the "International Expo 2020" in Dubai.
