UAE and Turkey now

 After a dispute for a while between the UAE and Turkey and tense relations due to some issues, relations returned to normal after the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Turkish President made a phone call on August 30, in which they discussed "bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them." In a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples. 

 Turkey's participation in the exhibition "embodies a new era of cooperation and strengthening relations with the UAE," as the Turkish ambassador to Abu Dhabi confirmed that this global event represents an opportunity to showcase the components of Turkey's diversified economy, which includes many sectors, including tourism, jewelry, technology and construction.

He explained that the volume of Turkey's trade with the UAE amounts to $8.5 billion in light of the growth of trade movement between the two countries, noting that the first six months of this year witnessed an increase of close to 100%.

In my opinion, the return of relations again with Turkey is an important matter and a wise decision also by our leaders due to the importance of Turkey, its strategic location, the size of its market and the trade between us and them, as well as the good relationship between the two peoples

World Expo is a large international exhibition designed to showcase achievements of nations. These exhibitions vary in character and are held in different parts of the world at a specific site for a period of time, ranging usually from three to six months. UAE, Dubai, won the organization of the exhibition in 2013, after Dubai outperformed Sao Paulo in Brazil, Yekaterinburg, Russia, and Izmir, Turkey, as it obtained the support of 116 of the 164 voting members of the Bureau in a final run-off against Yekaterinburg.
