His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended part of the Future Investment Initiative

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, attended part of the sessions of the fifth session of the Future Investment Initiative, which started its work the day before yesterday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is held under the title “Investing in Humanity” and will last for 3 days.

His Highness praised the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's organization of this prominent global event, which reflects its leading position at the regional and international levels and its important role in formulating a global agenda in order to establish a sustainable future for future generations.


His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan was received upon his arrival in Riyadh to attend the Future Investment Initiative, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

World Expo is a large international exhibition designed to showcase achievements of nations. These exhibitions vary in character and are held in different parts of the world at a specific site for a period of time, ranging usually from three to six months. UAE, Dubai, won the organization of the exhibition in 2013, after Dubai outperformed Sao Paulo in Brazil, Yekaterinburg, Russia, and Izmir, Turkey, as it obtained the support of 116 of the 164 voting members of the Bureau in a final run-off against Yekaterinburg.
